A positive global market and easing of geopolitical tensions had led many analysts to forecast a positive trading session. Domestic markets were expected to open on a positive cues. The BSE Sensex closed the day with a 276.50 point gain to close at 32158.66. The NSE Nifty50 ended the day with a 87 point gain to end at 10093.05.Most stocks were in the green on the Sensex. Tata Steel was up by 3.30% and Sun Pharma (up by 3.17%) were at the leaderboards, while Hero Motocorp (down by 0.38%), ONGC (down by 0.76%), and Wipro (down by 1%), were at the bottom.Most indices on the Sensex were trading in the green, but more notably, Sensex Next50 was up by 1.25% and at the top of the leaders, while BSE 200 with a gain of 0.86% was at the bottom of the table.Among sector specifics, Healthcare stocks were in the green with the BSE healthcare index recording a gain of 1.68% during the session.Among the gainers on broader indices, Divis Lab made headlines with a 85.15 point gain. The stock made a 11.83% intraday change.
